Beijing Entertainment Law Society (BELS) was found in September 2016. BELS is launched and founded by more than 20 famous art colleges, law schools and top-tier enterprises in culrture and entertainment industry, including Beijing Film Academy, Peking University Law School, Tsinghua University Law School, Tencent, Alibaba Culture and Entertainment Group, iQiyi, H.Brothers, Bona Film Group, etc. In December 2020, BELS was assessed as "Grade 4A China Social Organization ". With the main tasks of legal research, legal application research, consulting service, legal education and talent training in the entertainment industry fields such as film, radio and television, music, performance, online audio-visual and game, as well as the entertainment industry integration fields such as publishing, sports and tourism, BELS gives full play to the academic and industrial advantages of Beijing, build a bridge of cooperation and communication between the culture and entertainment industry and the legal industry, and strive to practice the beautiful vision of "law makes entertainment better"! Brand Protection and IP Licensing Committee is the branch of Beijing Entertainment Law Societ, which involved in brand planning, brand building, brand culture, brand value, brand protection, trademark licensing, copyright licensing, patent licensing, software licensing and other intellectual property licensing of cultural, creative industries and entertainment industry as the research category, including but not limited to the operation, development and strategic layout of brand, IP licensing, the protection and unfair competition of intellectual property. The Committee get involved the areas of cultural, creative industries, entertainment and IP licensing, so as to promote industry development.
